The dining experience at Rancho Pacifico is like no other. Our private guests-only restaurant and lounge overlook the Pacific Ocean and the famous Whale’s Tail beach. Our resident chefs prepare cuisine inspired by culinary traditions from around the world using only the freshest local ingredients from the land and sea – many sourced from our own gardens. And our full-service bar features an extensive wine list, national and craft beers and cocktails made with fresh local fruits and juices.

Cuisine

All reservations include complimentary daily breakfast – a full a la carte menu including freshly squeezed juices and of course, Costa Rican coffee.

Enjoy a delicious lunch by the pool with an extensive menu featuring fresh salads, sandwiches, ceviches and wraps.

Dinner is a special experience at Rancho Pacifico.  Our chef designs a unique four course prix fixe menu each night using the freshest local ingredients available that day.

We are also happy to accommodate your special dietary needs.

Beverages

Our pineapple basil martinis and celery cilantro gimlets are legendary. With a full line of premium spirits, we can satisfy almost any beverage preference. We feature an extensive wine list with an emphasis on wines from South America. We have one of Costa Rica’s best selections of premium bourbons.  For beer lovers, we offer Costa Rica’s national brands plus craft beers brewed exclusively for Rancho Pacifico.

Organic & Local

Rancho Pacifico’s chefs purchase the freshest ingredients sourced from local farms and fish markets.  We also grow many of our greens, fruits, and vegetables in our own organic gardens.  Fresh produce here has a flavor that you may have forgotten was possible.
